The Fox River mall is the largest shopping center in northeastern Wisconsin, just off Highway 41 and 96, Grand Chute, north of Milwaukee. It is one of the most important malls owned by General Growth Properties in the Midwest. It is a super-regional upscale shopping center visited by people from the whole area.
This enclosed mall was built in 1984, but was renovated and expanded six times in the past 2 decades. It now covers 1.2 million square feet on a single level hosting over180 shops and services and 7 full-service restaurants. It is anchored by JC Penney, Sears, Macy’s, Target, Scheels All Sports and younkers, but other major stores include World Market, Abercrombie & Fitch, Coldwater Creek, and Body Shop. The food court offers 10 more dining options from Fox River Brewing Co to McDonald's. The shops and restaurants are open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Parking is free at the Fox River mall and there are no valet parking services available nor covered parking lots. Families may appreciate facilities like nursing lounge, stroller rental or family restrooms. These and many other make this mall very popular, receiving over 16 million visitors annually.
